We process personal data for the following purposes:

To comply with legal obligations.
We process and retain information where necessary for accounting, taxation, consumer-protection and other legal obligations.
To maintain security and prevent misuse or fraud.
We may process limited technical, transaction and usage information where necessary for our legitimate interests in protecting our website, customers, transactions and business.
To handle complaints, disputes and legal claims.
We may retain and use relevant information where necessary for our legitimate interests in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
For optional marketing or non-essential tracking.
Where applicable, we rely on your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Information required to complete a purchase.
To enter into and perform a purchase contract, you must provide the information reasonably required by the checkout and payment process, such as a valid email address and any billing or payment information required for the transaction. If required information is not provided, we may be unable to process the order, accept payment or deliver the digital product. Information requested solely for optional marketing purposes is not required to make a purchase.
4. Website hosting
Our website is hosted using ChatGPT Sites.
OpenAI Ireland Ltd may process personal data on our behalf as a service provider and data processor where personal data is collected or generated through the operation of the hosted website, including technical, log, device, usage or cookie-related information.
OpenAI processes such data for the purpose of hosting, maintaining, securing and supporting the website in accordance with its applicable data-processing terms.
5. Checkout, orders and digital delivery
We use Shopify to provide checkout, order processing, customer-order records and digital product delivery.
Shopify and its service providers may process information necessary to operate these services, including contact details, billing information, order information, transaction information, technical information and digital-delivery information.
Shopify generally acts as a processor or service provider on our behalf when processing customer personal data for these purposes, subject to Shopify's applicable terms and data-processing arrangements.
The digital PDF is delivered through Shopify's Digital Products functionality.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment service providers made available through our Shopify checkout.
Payment providers process payment information according to their own legal obligations and privacy terms. Saintti Oy does not collect or store full payment-card numbers on 81everydayfrictions.com.
Information that we receive from the payment process may include the payment method, transaction identifier, payment status and information necessary to administer or account for the transaction.
7. Service providers and other recipients
We may disclose personal data where necessary to:
- OpenAI, for hosting and operating our ChatGPT Site;
- Shopify and its subprocessors, for ecommerce, checkout, order processing and digital delivery;
- payment service providers used to process your chosen payment method;
- professional advisers, accountants, auditors or insurers where reasonably necessary;
- courts, regulators, tax authorities, law-enforcement bodies or other public authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
We do not sell personal data.
8. International data transfers
Some service providers and their subprocessors may process personal data outside Finland or the European Economic Area.
Where personal data protected by European data-protection law is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards are used where required, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission or approved Standard Contractual Clauses.
OpenAI and Shopify maintain contractual and other safeguards for international transfers in accordance with their applicable data-processing arrangements.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website and ecommerce services may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for website operation, security, checkout, fraud prevention and digital delivery.
We use Umami Analytics for website traffic and interaction analytics, including aggregate site usage and purchase funnel interactions. The implementation is configured without advertising pixels or behavioral advertising. No names, email addresses, payment details, order IDs, or other customer-identifying data are intentionally sent to Umami through custom events. We use analytics data to understand site usage and improve the website and purchase flow.
10. Marketing communications
We will only send electronic marketing communications where we have a lawful basis to do so.
Where marketing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, including by using an unsubscribe method provided in the communication or by contacting support@81everydayfrictions.com.
Transactional messages relating to orders, payments, delivery, security or customer support are not marketing messages.
11. Retention of personal data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with legal obligations.
Order, payment and transaction records that form part of our accounting records are retained for the periods required under Finnish accounting and tax law. Certain accounting records must be retained for at least six years, and certain categories of accounting records for at least ten years.
Records relating to digital-delivery consent, delivery and the transaction may be retained together with the relevant order records where necessary to demonstrate compliance with consumer-law obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Customer-support communications are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the matter and meet any related legal or record-keeping requirements.
Technical and security information is retained for periods reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, system operation and compliance, taking into account the retention practices of the relevant service providers.
When personal data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible, unless continued retention is required by law.
12. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may have the right to:
- obtain confirmation as to whether we process your personal data and request access to it;

- request deletion of personal data;
- request restriction of processing;

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
13. Complaints
If you believe that your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
Saintti Oy's supervisory authority in Finland is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
You may also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority in the country where you live, work or where the alleged infringement took place.
14. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful loss, alteration, disclosure or access.
Payment-card information is handled through third-party payment services rather than being stored directly on the ChatGPT Site.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15. Children
Our website and digital product are not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data from children in circumstances where parental or guardian consent would be required by applicable law.
